The logbook,
not the lecture.
Feeds, nappies, sleep and growth — written down in one tap, shared with whoever is helping, and there when there is no signal.
Free forever. On the App Store and Google Play.
The notebook by the cot, on the phone already in your hand.
Almost every family keeps one for the first weeks — a notebook, the back of a discharge letter, a note on a phone. For a while it is the most useful object in the house. Then it fills up, or it is downstairs, or it is 3am and the light would wake someone.
One hand, half asleep
Every common action is one tap, reachable with a thumb. The home screen tells you which breast to start on, because at 3am nobody remembers.
Works with no signal
Everything is written to the phone first and syncs when a connection returns. A nursery at the back of the house is not a problem.
Night Watch
A bedside alarm for a feed that is overdue, which keeps checking that you actually got up. Acknowledging it only buys a few minutes.
Everyone who is helping
Your partner, a grandparent, a midwife, a night nurse — each with their own access, for as long as their care lasts and no longer.
Growth, plainly
Weight, length and head circumference against the WHO reference bands. Stated, never interpreted.
Six languages
English, Dutch, Turkish, Spanish, German and French, and it follows your phone. The care services it names follow the country you are in — a family in the Netherlands is pointed at a kraamzorg, one in the United States at a pediatrician.
What you actually see at 3am.
Real screens from the app, with a fortnight of a newborn week in them.

An alarm that checks on you
See how it works before you need it
Every part of the app, shown with screenshots and short recordings — from the first feed to week 40.
A home screen fitted to you
The buttons you use most, in the order you use them, by day and by night.
Pregnancy, week by week
The baby drawn for each week, its size as a fruit, and every tool in one tab.
Night Watch
A bedside alarm for a gap you choose, that checks you actually got up.

AI credits — only if you want them
Writing entries by dictating a sentence, photographing a page of a paper log, or asking a question of your documents. These cost real money to run every time they are used, so they are bought separately instead of being folded into a price everyone pays.
Credits never expire, are not tied to a plan, and work on the free tier too.
- €2,99 250 credits
- €7,99 1 000 credits
- €19,99 3 000 credits
Prices include VAT. Cancel any time from your Apple or Google account — we never see your card.
What Hodierna is not.
Stated plainly, because it shapes every other decision in the product.
- It is not a medical device, and it gives no diagnosis or advice.
- It is not a monitor. It knows only what somebody typed in.
- It is not a coach. No targets, no scores, no streaks. Nobody needs a badge for feeding their own child.
- It does not replace your midwife, doctor or child health service. For anything clinical — a temperature, a rash, a feeling that something is off — contact them, and trust that instinct over anything on a screen.
The ones that actually get asked.
Where is my data?
In our own infrastructure in Europe. Photos and documents sit in private storage that only people you have invited can read, and every request checks that permission on the server rather than only in the app.
Can a midwife or nurse write in it?
Yes, if you invite her. You choose what she can do and when her access ends — ten days by default, which is roughly how long she is with you. It ends on its own; you do not have to remember to switch it off.
Does it work without signal?
Completely. Everything is written to the phone first. The badge says "waiting" when something has not synced yet — that is normal, not an error.
What happens when I stop paying?
The logbook keeps working, because the logbook is free. If you bought Forever there is nothing to stop paying for. On the yearly plan you lose document storage and export; nothing you wrote is ever taken away or locked, and any AI credits you bought stay yours.
Why is the free tier so generous?
Because the logbook costs almost nothing to run, and charging for something that costs nothing is a bad deal dressed up as a business model. Storage and inference do cost money, so those are what you pay for — and they are split apart, because storage is a few cents a month and can honestly be sold once, while every AI call costs again each time it is made.
Will it tell me if something is wrong?
No, and it will not tell you that things are fine either — it cannot know. It records what you enter and reminds you at intervals you set. Everything clinical belongs with your midwife, doctor or health visitor.
